Rites of Passage
The rite of passage.
This marks a times of change in our life, as the tides of the moon flow and the changing seasons are marked with the sacred sabbats, so too are the changes that happen in our life, in pagan tradition.
If we celebrate the changing seasons with the Celtic wheel of the year then it only makes sense to mark the changes in us too, in one lifetime there can many changes, just think for a moment how beautiful it would be to mark these changes with a ceremony, with family, friends and the community.
By marking the changes in your life with a Rite of passage,
it will help to ease the transition.
A Rite of passage, is a gateway, from where you have come and where you are going, a time to look back, a time of reflection, looking in on yourself, a time of honouring the spirit within.
A time to acknowledge our place within the divine circle of life and the sacredness of the Gods that flow through us, from the small ant to the winter storms all have its sacred place within the sacred process of life, we are all part of the cosmic web, let the wonder and joy of the spirit be celebrated.

Outline of Ceremonies
All ceremonies will be performed in a sacred circle, decorated with flowers and foliage of your choice,
Sharon-Denise will write your ceremony with accordance to your wishes.
Handfasting
This is a beautiful Rite for couples who wish to celebrate their love and unity of spirits in honour and sacredness. This can take place in a location of your choosing with a ceremony that reflects the couples bonds of love and spirituality.
Childnaming
A thanksgiving of new life!
To welcome the child into family and community.
With a ceremony to rejoice in the childs sacred Awen.
The childs magical name will be given from the childs magical godparents who will be given the honour to help look after the childs spiritual welfare.
Coming of Age
To celebrate the transition that your child make from childhood to adulthood. This is a sacred time for the child and the parents, it can be a difficult time for the parents to go through this change just as it is for the child. In this celebration the child is now entering a time of major change where they will have to deal with energy and emotions on a new level. To actually acknowledge this in a ceremony in a sacred circle with family and friends, will help the child enter adulthood in confidance with respect for themselves and for the world around them.
Rites of Change
We all go through many changes in our life, to honour this in a rite of passage, with a ceremony will help with the changes and bring strength of Awen to your life. The changes can be from new job, change of home, ending of a relationship, any change that has meaning to you.
Last Rite
Dealing with death is a difficult time for all involved, for the person who is facing death it brings a mixture of feelings.
This rite of passage will bring preparation to whom is dying and to loved ones, in a safe sacred circle, this is a very respectful and intimate time, with a deep emphasis on spiritual needs,
a time to pause and reflect.
The journey of "sacred transition" of the soul,
preparation to the summer lands.
Requiem
It takes three days for the soul to leave their body and travel to the summer lands,
this a sacred time to send prayers, love and offerings to the loved one who has passed over.
A requiem will help the soul cross to the summer lands,
where they will be greeted into the arms of the ancestors.
A Requiem is a sacred ritual, an opportunity to express farewells to the soul through music, poetry, stories of memories, tears, laughter
and celebration of the their life.
Fees: This starts from £60, depending on the contents of the ceremony and on the materials needed for the ritual.
Also expenses for traveling and accommodation.
A small deposit is taken at the time of booking your ceremony.
Sharon-Denise likes to have a pre-ceremony planning meeting to meet the people involved with the ceremony and to thoroughly go through the ritual and what is needed for the ceremony, so this is all agreed and complete before the day of your ceremony.
This is to make your day sacred, beautiful and full of sacred flow of Awen.
